EdTechTeam today announced that it has received the Google Cloud Global Partner of the Year Award in Education.

EdTechTeam today announced that it has received the Google Cloud Global Partner of the Year Award in Education. This award was presented at Google Cloud Next ‘19.

EdTechTeam was recognized for the company’s achievements in helping schools implement and increase meaningful adoption of the Google Cloud ecosystem. Working in partnership with Google for Education across multiple programs, EdTechTeam supports educators and school leaders in collaborating with colleagues, communicating with parents, and focusing on student advocacy - allowing students themselves to create, share, solve problems, and develop the skillsets they will need to be successful in their future.

“Our team is so excited about this award. We’re proud of our long history partnering with Google’s education programs over the past 13 years,” said Mark Wagner, CEO of EdTechTeam. “From the first Google Teacher Academy in 2006 to the modern Certified Innovator Program and others in 2019, including our work on Applied Digital Skills, CS First, and of course the Dynamic Learning Project, we’re grateful for all the opportunities we’ve had to help educators achieve certification with Google for Education, and to help inspire and empower them to be agents of change using the best learning principles and best technology available, especially the combination of G Suite and Chromebooks. The collaborative nature of these tools can be a powerful catalyst for innovation in schools, and we are passionate about helping educators make the most of what Google for Education provides. This work itself is fulfilling, and this recognition is an honor.”

Recently, EdTechTeam and Google for Education have also been producing #AZGoogle, which is educating thousands of educators for free across the state of Arizona. Another powerful project in collaboration between EdTechTeam and Google for Education and reseller partners, is Education on Tour, an event series is focused on sharing best practices for implementing Google for Education technology in the classroom. One of the most impactful projects between EdTechTeam and Google for Education is the Dynamic Learning Project; in cooperation with the nonprofit Digital Promise, EdTechTeam and Google provide school districts with a framework and methodology to completely transform their classrooms through coaching and mentorship.

“We’re thrilled to recognize EdTechTeam as the 2018 Google Cloud Global Partner of the Year for Education,” said Carolee Gearhart, Vice President, Worldwide Channel Sales at Google Cloud. “The EdTechTeam has proven their expertise in Google Cloud and has demonstrated their commitment to customer success over the past year. We’re excited to keep building on our partnership with EdTechTeam as more and more customers look to our ecosystem to help them succeed in the cloud.”
