A free, global virtual summit, featuring new and ever-evolving content on relevant topics and learning principles in the classroom!
IRVINE, Calif., October 16, 2018 (Newswire.com) - EdTechTeam, a global network of educational technologists, is thrilled to announce The Virtual — a free, global, online summit that educators can attend in their PJs! Integrating the theme CREATE, EdTechTeam is getting messy and mixing it up to unveil new and ever-evolving content on the most relevant topics and learning principles in the classroom today, including mindfulness, accessibility, creativity, and personalized learning.
EdTechTeam is challenging educators to think about what they can do to create enthusiasm for learning in the classroom, across the curriculum, and throughout the school year. Summit sessions will focus on the whole teacher, not just tech, providing educators with new strategies and tips to create connections, opportunities, experiences, student agency and a whole lot more! Moreover, The Virtual offers the freedom to enjoy free, flexible professional development, from anywhere.
This global virtual event starts on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 4 p.m. in Australia and follows the sun around the world for the next 14 hours finishing up in North America at 1 p.m. PST.
We've reimagined our virtual summit to support the whole teacher, not just technology. We got our doodle pens out and started sketching some ideas that will inspire teachers to be the best person they can be - this is going to be a great event for teachers of all grades and subjects. I think you'll agree!
Session Topics Include:
- Creating with Chromebooks
- Creating Real World Problem Solvers
- Creating Teacher Leaders
Each of these three sessions will feature 2-4 mini sessions on the topic.
